Evan M. Rogerson of Moundsville, who was known as “Mr. Marshall County,” was a charter member of the reorganized Marshall County Historical Society and served as its first president. He also oversaw the publication of History of Marshall County and was project coordinator for a professional survey of historical sites in Marshall County.
